I am actually astonished that they were able to recapture the 1990's vibe. :leon:

I felt like I was in a time-warp watching these interviews. The interview with Cube was well-done and could not be conducted by another host that I can think of.

Some of the monologue can be very corny but it has always been that way.

His interview skills, questions, interest in the celebrity, and knowledge of past and current events relevant to his target audience is where he is excelling.

I hope that he can keep the show on the air.

I flipped to another concurrently running 11pm late night talk show and Arsenio's made it seem so :ld:.

NaS is my second favorite MC of all time, :to:

I wish he performed, Back When,
I feel like I'm in the presence of Buddha when I hear the second verse :sadbron:

Lopez was funny,
Great comedian,

Magic interview was dope,
This was the best episode out the three.

Just imagine if they brought "Yo MTV Raps" back with Ed Lover/Dr Dre, it still won't be the same.

The vibe in this era doesn't match these shows, Arsenio needs to go hard on the monologues.

Celebs aren't taken seriously anymore, that reverance of them is almost gone completely.

I don't even feel these clowns anymore because almost all of them have been exposed.

I never found Jimmy Kimmel to be funny. He lost weight though.
I like Jimmy Fallon but he's on very late. Not even competing time-wise with the 11:30 shows.
David Letterman is old-fashioned and is out of his element.
Jay Leno is good but not that funny as he iterates what show writers put out. He draws the popular guests.
Conan was funny on Late Night, he wasn't as funny on the Tonight Show, but I don't get TBS so I don't know how that show is doing.

Arsenio is a bit out of his element. He's older and not as contemporary like he was back in the day. His band is tight. The lighting or camera is weird. I don't know if it's the CW or what. It looks like I'm watching a public-access show. Jokes and comedy bits are a bit lame. He needs to fire some of his writers, f'realz.
