this was last year
same score and nothing change, pathetic ass defense

Which year? Beat 3-0 in the league twice and the League Final.

Arsenal haven't scored a goal at Emirates since Apr 17.

Have to go back till Dec 15 for an Arsenal home win in the league.

Only win of any sort is the FA Cup Semi win 2017.

This is Long winded :pachaha:

Apart from Poch, who is good and available? And with Poch comments on Barca, I'll assume he feels the same way about Arsenal. I guess the plan was to have Freddie do the job till the end of the season and then get who they wanted. But with no FT 1st team coaching staff, the lack of confidence within the squad and European football for 20/21 season is increasingly drifting away. Learnt the lesson of last season, don't rely on winning the EL to make Europe for next year. They have to get someone in now and there is no point in having an interim till the end of the season. Fans want someone experienced and to organise the defence but that isn't guaranteed to be a success look at Mourinho at Spurs, Spurs have far better defenders than Arsenal do and they've been leaking goals left right and centre. So getting A doesn't automatically = B.

Arteta knows the club and the league, so that is an advantage. Spent the last 14 years as player, club captain and now coaching in PL. So there is no adjustment period to the league required, he isn't going to be surprised by anything that other teams and players do. Apart from Bellerin and Ozil, I don't think he has a relationship with any other of the players, so he has no loyalties to this current squad. Which was a problem for latter day Wenger.

Arsenal need someone who has a clear vision, which going off Arteta as a player and the reports of his coaching skills so far in his career. It sounds like Arteta could bring some fresh ideas and impetus to an old, young, slow, injury prone squad. The most important thing for Arteta is to organize that defence the best he can and have midfielders protect them. Apart from when they play Citeh, Arsenal don't really have issue scoring goals, even if the style of football is crap.

Any hire/transfer is a risk. But getting Arteta at least let's the fans know, it will be a rebuild job. (which is what is needed), Bringing in a Ancelotti or Allegri, will get the fans hopes for instant success, but neither has rebuilt a team or won anything when they haven't had the best squad in the league.

The best 2 coaches for Arsenal in this current state are Klopp and Simeone, but the former is impossible to get and the latter not available till the summer.
