Well, to be honest, we only played well after the missed PK. We should have never been in that position to begin with. Switzerland played great and were a tough team to manoeuver and exposed our defense badly.
But the issue is that our whole gameplan is to get Pogba the ball so he can make magic or let the front 3 create something out of nowhere. And when individuals fail , then we look poor. No real attacking pattern or actual strategy to get the ball in the danger zone or to a proper target.
That team has been looking like 2006 Brazil, talent galore but lack of project. Team wise, Germany, Spain or Italy are far more grounded and they can rely on their system when individuals lack.
I cant be too mad at Deschamps though. One Euro final and One WC, thats an excellent resume.
Hopefully Zidane come and give us a better playing style. I have nothing against Sissoko, there's no reason for him to come in in 2021.
