Portugal (if Santos actually let's them play), Belgium (don't let that lil win last year fool y'all), Germany (you lettin' a World Cup slip up trick you)....as I said English hype train.......I'm fully aware of how this hype train goes....I've been on it since Euro 96. I've just grown bitter and seen it for what it is....over hyped talent that is mid level at best. Yes you have your diamonds in there, but overall mid tier talent with lots of hyperbolic hype.

England has more talent than Belgium and Germany. Certainly more attacking talent.

Anyway, how come group F got that way ? Like France is #2, Portugal #5 and Germany #12 in FIFA rankings. What even is the point of being ranked high if theres no seeding ? Or was this because of the Nations League thing ?

I don't see how, on form, Lingard doesn't make England's team. It's even more egregious considering that Southgate's carrying four RBs. No Lingard or Ollie Watkins, but four RBs? That's insane.

Southgate is definitely choosing based on pedigree and big clubs rather than on form just off that decision.

To be fair its pretty much 3 RBs because Walker is there as the RCB in a 3 at the back. They all deserved to go to be honest. Trent even starts for me.

This is fair. He's got to be going basically three at the back with the LB and RB pushing way up. I still don't see how Lingard isn't on this team. They're thin in options at the attack.
