Arrival and it's not really a discussion for me. Superior acting, story and director (@FlyRy :mjpls:)
Interstellar is a fun and pretty watch, tho:manny:
Doesn't offend me. Denis V is in my top 3 directors who started making movies after I was born.

I've copped Interstellar twice (day one and 4k) and i'll be honest I haven't rewatched it since Imax.

I have rewatched Arrival

fukk both of those movies. War of the Worlds >

Goat underrated flick because Tom Cruise went scientology nuts around that time. That movie is a solid 8 stars for me. I just felt so much like a *real* every day people view of what would happen in an alien invasion like that.

I loved the aliens and the whole language science aspect of the movie. That was crazy original. What I hated:
  • The stupid time travel aspect
  • The terrible corny dialog at the end
  • Yet another sci-fi flick that can't let the story cook, they have to bury in a "women are smart, men are stupid" theme
  • Yet another sci-fi flick with a stupid family soap opera drama that's supposed to make you care. I gave a fukk about htat little girl
Still liked it better than Interstellar which was long, boring, and raped the laws of physics with yet another corny sci-fi time travel plot. Please Hollywood, LEAVE TIMETRAVEL OUT OF SCIFI, ITS PLAYED OUT!

There's no time travel in Arrival. The rest of your complaints seem personal, so I'll let you cook

:dahell: You need to watch the last 10 minutes again. You literally missed the entire twist ending to this movie. You missed every ounce of it.

I literally watched it again today. Amy Adams' character does not travel through time. I could give you the cliff notes or extended full explanation if you'd like, breh:mjlit:
