Arn was easily the greatest TV champion of all time. It's a shame how bad WCW killed that belt's legacy by the time they bushed it. I remember when I first started watching wrestling, it seemed like he just always had that belt. I despite watching in the late 80s early 90s didn't recall how many great promos Arn had. Attitude era wrestling forums, The Horsemen stuff the E did and youtube and ultimately his podcast, really brought home just how good he was as a promo.

Arn Anderson's no-nonsense, straightforward delivery and Jake Roberts's methodical, psychological approach were both evident in Austin's promo style in the early to mid 90's.

EDIT - I was watching the clip where Stone Cold delivered his first Stunner to Vince at MSG in 1997, and the promo that led up to the Stunner heard around the world was very Double A like.

Presentation is so damn important. You put good music and kill the backround noise, take more camera angles/shots for editing and you have a memorable video package

Instead, it's a dope promo from an outstanding pro wrestler that was lost in time

Austin's iconic "I ain't no sexy boy, I don't dance son" video package was like 16 months after this one from Arn and it's like they are 50 years apart
