I don't remember much about army of the dead can you elaborate?

Well spoilers for Army of the Dead, but we last see Deiter when he was closing the vault to save Vanderohe (Omari's character) as Zeus (the main Zombie) was pulling away. We did not see Deiter die. So there's speculation that he could've of somehow escape, got out of Vegas before the nuke blast and far enough to not be affected by the aftershock. But we really don't know. He's just presumed dead.

Just finished watching it, thought it was solid 
Definitely don't go into the film expecting any horror, but for a heist flick it was entertaining enough. Deiter is the star here and I liked his character more in this film than I did in Army of the Dead, had more than a few
moments. Felt more breezy and comedic, than say tension filled, but nails the guy living a mundane life thrust into something more exciting.

An extremely mid movie. I'm not even ehure why it was made....its premise is spun from a throwaway backstory. Either Zack has a Netflix movie quota he has to meet or he's fukking the lead actor.

I usually don't fukk with IGN movie reviews but they were spot on regarding this one, saying that there's no point for this movie to exist because there hasn't been enough Army Of The Dead sequels and spin-offs to justify a prequel just yet. It's like if John Wick went with a prequel spin-off about Adrianne Palicki's character before John Wick 2 came out.

main dude is too much an annoying, bumbling character for my tastes which i didnt find cute or charming. pretty mid overall, i agree. but i thought it was pretty well shot. quite easily by a more competent director.
