I have a cousin that is bi polar that illness is no joke at all. Like he is on government assistance bi polar bad. Dude can’t even apply for a job withoit the consent from the government.

Ppl my age used to see it as a way to get out of impoverished situations like myself...now I have a couple of nephews in the same situation and I suggested the military to them and they laughed like I was speaking Japanese and said that's for whiteboys....these idiots are in their early 20s sleeping on they mama's and sisters couches...I say this to say it seems like a large amount of the youngins today are just waiting for life to happen instead of diving in ....my nephews laugh at the notion of working period...but ain't done nothing of note since high school...the military is not a bad option when u have no other options...and there are tons of benefits....how u think I am able to get a house in California...my VA loan is how

Before i got out, during the “drawdown” , they got rid of people for bs reasons (no more sleeve tattoos, felonies, DUIs,failed pt & weight, get too many negative marks etc). Before that during the peak of the war, they let everything I just named slide on in.
