I agree with most of this but Would you say though that Peyton made his career on dink and dunk possession receivers? Idk about that .brady been feasting for a good amount of years on that though
Peyton got two monster receivers in both of the Thomases. Throw it up and pray type receivers that come through.

Brady probably still cries himself to sleep thinking about if he had moss for another three seasons

Cutler stuck his fist all the way in our ass flinging it up to his 3 monster receivers

This is 2014. Corners are creeping up in the 6'2 and up range. Receivers are now 6'3 and bigger if they are top receivers.

All these weapons and Kaep throws in the bottom half of yards and attempts every single year. We wouldn't be run first if the coaches truly believed our receivers were this God send yall trying to convince us they are

It's obvious the people running san Fran agree with me

We first started by grabbing moss and Manningham. Got beat throwing to bum ass crabs to Boldin and them

Go grab Boldin. Lose throwing to bum ass crabs again. We go get Stevie.

How much you wanna bet we go get another receiver next year???

We usually bring 8-10 to fukking camp. Trade for some, draft some, and pick up some free agents

What other position do we continue to do that for, 3-4 years in a row?? None of them

They are looking for the same thing I am. A big play receiver
its obvious they DONT agree with you. besides boldin we dont have anyone for kaep just lob it up like stafford does. if anything, the coaching is discouraging the qb to heave it up to a covered WR, for a reason too

peyton made most of his career throwing to dallas clark and harvin marrison on timed, intermediate routes

he did NOT make it throwing up jumpballs to big superstars
peytons game was always making intermediate throw on time, no one could touch him in that department, because dude is the best reader of defense there is.

hes not throwing jumpballs to anyone on the broncos right now, either.

Let me calm down cause maybe I was hollering....

My point is not that we need to throw for 500 yards a game.

My point is when we get down. When we NEED to score. When we need to score to keep a lead. When we haven't scored in the 4th quarter all season. When we only have 3 points in the second half so far......

Maybe we could use that ignorant sized WR or TE to lob it too. It is the reason we have zero rings since Kaep took over. We always end up in the situation of needing a score and not having the personnel to do so

Now what I meant by the office agreeing with me....

We aren't bringing in 8 CBs every single year. 8 rbs. 8 lbs. 8 dl.

They keep bringing more and more WR tho. Looking for that guy. They aren't finding him. which is why every year they bring in another 8. But best believe, they are looking for that guy

they were bringing more WRs because we had shyt WRs. guys like moss and 'ham were brought for '12 because our WRs sucked. we had brett fukking swain lining up across from crabs in the that divisional saints game, for christs sake

this is the first year we are loaded at WR. and thing is, we arent even using them. we had 3 WRs active for the bears game. THREE breh plus ellington who was mostly doing returns, who was barely seeing snaps
those WRs were Stevie, Crabs, Boldin.
they know exactly what they get in guys like Stevie and Lloyd, those are proven vets. but they won't be 'those guys' like mega, ever.

WR is nearly literally like the least of our problems, really.

You tell me where the direction of this team is heading

With that story in mind, what would the late Schembechler think if he saw Harbaugh’s offense in Sunday’s 23-14 loss to the Cardinals? Fullback Bruce Miller played nine snaps, running backs Frank Gore and Carlos Hyde combined for nine carries and the 49ers used at least four wide receivers on 28 of 64 offensive snaps, according to Pro Football Focus. On their opening drive, the 49ers used five wide receivers on six consecutive plays.

Bring in 20 WR in 3 years and pay the qb 100 mil plus and think running will remain the first option brehs

all I know is that this team is built on D and run game
you take away the D and run game and this wont be a good team

if we go all-pass gung ho and miss the offs you'll be the one lamenting lack of a WR. Ill be lamenting lack of D and run game. thats that shyt that wins games, and specifically wins us games with this staff and this makeup of the team.

Id too would like to have sean payton here, but that aint happening. harbs and roman trying to call an intricate all-pass game is a recipe for disaster, imo

and heres the thing.
us passing heavily against az caught them by surprise.

and then they went and adjusted. started to bring the heat. we still have no means to combat the blitz, although kaep is at least checking the ball down on some of these situations (thankfully)

we currently cannot pass at will every down like some of the passing juggernauts. that isnt because of lack of WR who can get open or get jumpballs. we have those guys.
when we do pass every down and teams know we are passing those drives become 3 and outs way too often right now.

I think we are essentially saying the same thing here. I get emotional after a loss so let me clean up

If we are gonna run first and rely on d to not let the other team score, then we have the correct WR for that. They don't need to be speedy or big, cause we only need short effective passing to extend drives

But what seems to be going on is, every year the front office flirts with becoming some pass heavy team. The offseason we bring in a rack of WR instead of Dbs which we needed. Then the first few games we try to air it out like we got 4 prime randy mosses on the squad

IF that's what they are trying to force on the team, then we don't have spread type receivers.

And from what I see year to year, it seems like somebody over here is saying, ooooooo Kaep has an arm, let's let him air it out all game.

We knew our defense took major hits, yet had 10 WR in camp when that should have been 10 dbs/lbs and some o-linemen
