Pat Benatar didn't make 'Urban Contemporary' music. This would be a better comparison.....

:stylin:

Ariana Grande and Teena Marie ain't in the same vein or category. :what:Teena Marie made music for black folks, period. Grande is a pop star for the hit music radio station. Teena Marie was the queen of Disco in the era when crackers were screaming "Disco sucks". Disco helped give birth to Hip Hop because Disco was black folks club music that whitey couldn't digest. Teena Marie made music with Rick James and only messed with black dudes in her personal life. Teena Marie had a lifetime hood pass. Ariana Grande is like Jessica Alba's little sister who sings for teeny boppers. I thought Ariana Grande was Latino too. But it's just like when Jessica Alba found out she was like 90%+ caucasoid when she had her ancestrydna results. Everybody thought of her being Latina when she was really just brunette flavored Spaniard cac. Racial ambiguity definitely sells in pop/R&B historically. Sade was a worldwide sensation because she could pass for so many different races. But I don't know too many black folks over 18 and not female who listen to Ariana Grande. :skip:The only time I've heard her played at a club was that "side to side" song and it was at an Ethiopian spot full of reggae loving fobby Africans, not a regular club full of nikkas.

for almost two decades latino and hispanic has been used interchangeably via census. you’re using archaic understandings of those terms to split hairs.

due to your obviously specious intent, i would prefer u not to quote me again, cac.
Shutup you pugnacious fakkit. What are you going to do, scratch me with your long nails from your keyboard screen :mjlol:?

You said "more blacks live spanish-speaking countries" I said you were wrong. You clearly have no fukking clue what you are talking about and now your just flailing around trying make reality fit your dumbass argument.

No they dont. Alot of Italy was conquered by Germanic tribes, especially in the North. Only in the extreme south and sicilia was there more of a moorish presence.

Meanwhile Hispanic women are 50%-80% native indian and around 20% have significant amounts of African blood.

u must be an agent of confusion.

ignoring the fact that hispanics can be and in many countries are even more black than nikkas in america. most the slaves was sent to hispanic countries seeing as how brazil go 40% of them.

then conveniently overlooking how loss of intellectual property has hurt black ppl in aspects of business and ownership.

if these things not important to you, then leave the thread:camby:
Your quoting a nikka who believes in the Black -brown alliance and "exclusively dates latinas". (And I don't think he is referring to Afro-Latinos. Lol)

Bruh be right on some things, but he's weird when it comes to latinos

Utterly false, sir. She made music and it WAS NOT for 'Black folks'. It was for everyone.

Disco was ubiquitous (but waning) at the time so your argument is invalid.

Since she 'sounded Black', was signed to Motown, and her friend was Rick James, she was highlighted by Black stations' rotation lists and got regular airplay.

u just want to be right. brazilians are latino; imperialized by portugal, a place right next to spain. spain was one of the biggest constituencies in the treaty giving brazil to portugal.

u even strawmanning me to seem violent/combative when i simply ask u to respect our impass. you’re a cac and im not. end of story. good day.

:patrice:Bruh...you didn’t really negate the point

the fact is that she recorded Rnb/ funk/disco, those had heavily BLACK fan bases. Her fan base was always 99.9% black hence why she never went platinum
