Curious about where people are on this. With everything going on rn do you feel any desire to participate or are you kinda just out of it?

Probably not. I live in a red state in a red district so A republican gonna win the Senate Seat and House Seat and I don't care about any Local/State initiatives unless mfs talking bout legalizing weed. Will vote In 2023 for Governor and 24 for President tho even tho that one doesn't really matter either.

Also a sidenote we had elections earlier this year for state ballot initiatives and I think something crazy like only 10% of registered voters went out and voted :picard:

Attitudes like this are why things rarely change. Look how Georgia and those other states turned blue. If everyone who doesn’t think their vote matter doesn’t vote, it never will. Some elections are decided by 500-2500 votes.

depends on how the mid-terms looking, but even with that I probably will just bc I think the dems will lose the midterms and I will vote for any blue to level out the playing field.

A better thread would be what pressure are you putting on the current politicians in office locally before they ask to be re elected ?

I feel there would be a lot of silence. The complain & do nothing crowd be heavy
