Maybe its because i have a girl, but if she had turned out like a tomboy, dressing up like a dude. I would have accepted her. no big deal.Dwayne has to accept his child no matter what. It's called being a good father
What i don't like however is the attention seeking and flamboyance. and that often accompanies men who try to behave like women.
I'll compare it to the couple of time i've managed to pull models. They were so beautiful that everywhere we went people were staring at us. as soon as we entered a place she had the attention of everybody unwelcome or otherwise. I imagine they enjoyed it when it was welcome, but it was clearly burdensome when unwelcome.
Now imagine seeking that attention deliberately (not just a side effect of your birth), except you know you live in world where most of that attention will be hostile and unwelcome. Wouldn't encourage that for my child's safety. And i don't believe any of that is required in order for you to feel authentic to yourself. Humility is a trait anybody of any gender classification can embody.
