Can't wait...I wish it was being released this weekend.
From the interviews of the writer (Lindelof) and others involved in the film, I haven't noticed any direct relationships between the Sumerian "gods"/story and the film (aside from the ancient astronaut theory). It does seem like Scott borrowed heavily from the ancient alien theorists so there might be stronger connections than initially shown. But from what I've read the Prometheus myth is mos def represented in the film in regards to the characters and their choices within the film.
I'm hella amped for this film though. Can't wait.
