We got to stop being so sensitive. Let them rock the tribal gear.

As long as they dont try to take credit for that too :heh:

Black people never care when whites exploit their culture for financial gain. Why would they start caring now?

Isn't it weird that your average African black person can't afford D&G, yet their image is being used to line the wallets of a stranger un-related?

I bet there weren't even any black models. :pachaha: White women being the literal mode of carrying cultural exploitation.

Black people really enjoy being points of novelty for mass culture.

you'd be a fool to think black models have any sort of racial integrity, it's one of the most racist industries alive.

i don't take any particular offense to the outfits. just wonder why they employed a bunch of cacs to wear it.

bf - blkface

is a tough one, cuz there was time in american history, were the "art" was sarcastic and then you look at the norm of dolls, and Caucasoid art in its peachness and pinkness, meh, it cant be that bad.

the only issue with Dolce and Gabana is there are no diverse model, oh the uniqueness of african black themed fashion senses on pale models...

and the unlikeliness of maybe a blk model wearing the clothes?

its on the middle line between art/not...mostly artistic

If black models were wearing this, it wouldn't stand out or send any message.

The white models make it edgy, different, or fashionable. It's saying..."Hey, this style doesn't have to be race-exclusive if you do it right."

At least, that's what I interpret it as. :yeshrug:

Getting mad will just draw attention to it...which, in turn, would make it more marketable...which would be good for them because it'd start another trend.

i would be a fool to make assumptions about the "racial integrity'' of black models...
