And that offense couldn't break 21 points during the most important stretch of the season when we lost 5 in a row. This was an offense that consistently failed to adjust throughout the course of games yet you blame the QB who just had a top 3 season in the league. GTFOH :camby:

No, Matt Ryan didn't have those stats :mjlol:. Blaming 2nd year Sark over 12th year Matt Ryan for the same things that were going on when Sark wasn't here. :mjlol:

Of course the ATL
I thought y’all had a lot of injuries on defense. Now all the defensive players need to go? Wasn’t Vic moved around a lot from his natural position? Defense was good enough to take a WR in the draft last year first round.

The injuries are a part of the game. We couldn't replace Keanu Neal with Jordan Richards or Sharrod Neasman so he was missed from a tackling and physical presence in the secondary. We clearly missed Debo, but he did come back for 5 games. You can argue that FS Kazee (7 ints) is at least equal to starting FS Rico Allen. This unit failed to consistently tackle, committed dumb penalties and key players didn't step up

Trufant and Alford didn't record an INT this yr COMBINED. There were many times this yr where they were either out of position, failed to make a play on the ball or got a dumb penalty

Vic had 5 sacks this yr. He has a 5th yr option for $13 million. Do you really think we're bringing him back based off of that performance in back to back years?

We could never replace Poe leaving, McClain and the rookie Senat could not hold the point of attack at the line of scrimmage, we got run on consistently all year and couldn't generate pressure opposite Grady

Ridley is a good pick but we've neglected the line, it's now caught up to us

:dwillhuh:

How did Matt not have those stats troll? Those are pulled from ESPN I didn't just make shyt up

And BTW, if your offense with Matt Ryan and Julio Jones can't score 21 in 5 consecutive weeks with the season on the line then yes the OC needs to go. Matt Ryan isn't going anywhere so why is he even getting discussed? This is a Falcons thread, not a bash Matt Ryan thread. If he sucks so bad to you then make a thread about it. But I forgot you're not a real Falcons fan so troll in peace clown :camby:

Espn the sports gossip network?

Again, the NFL inflates stats.

Last time, if matt only throws a 10 yard pass, literally only throws 10 yards, and julio runs 50 yards, matt is credited with a 60 yard pass even though he only threw it 10 yards, I am done explaining this to you

Matt does not have the those stats

Matt Ryan is not the Falcons, I'm not bashing them, I'm explaining to a simple single cell'd plehbien that the 12th year qb is average as hell

2nd year Sark had the 6th highest offense in the league this year, and he like the other coordinators are getting the blame for an overpaid qbs trashness.

It's funny a trash poster such as yourself, always bringing up stats, I show you sark had the 6th highest offense in the league, and that didn't interest you.

But the 6th ranked offense couldn't score 21 points during a 5 game losing streak that ultimately ended the season. So who do we blame the failures of the offense on: The OC or the QB?

So be careful with your answer my subhuman friend, you wouldn't want to contradict yourself (again)

The 12th year overpaid alleged top 3 passer couldn't help get 21 points in 3 straight games

By the way that play Sark drew up to get Matt his first td catch was beautiful

Ok well first it was 5 straight games, not 3. So let's get that straight:

CLE 28-ATL 16
DAL 22-ATL 19
NO 31-ATL 17
BAL 26-ATL 16
GB 34-ATL 20

5 straight L's, offense was unable to scheme consistently after the first (scripted) drive of the game. What I and most reasonable Falcons fans saw was an offense that lacked creativity or the ability to outscheme its opponents.

Let's also not forget how inept this offense was in the playoffs last year

So although you have a vendetta against Matt Ryan and you are quick to criticize him every time he blows his nose, when this offense needed to be dynamic, it could not do so. That doesn't absolve the players of their share of blame but the OC is going to be the fall guy, especially when he was given an extra year to figure it out.

I would've been ok with Sark coming back but I'm not gonna act like this offense was productive against talented defenses either. At some point coaching has to come into the equation and Sark (who never had NFL OC experience) never could quite get the offense to the level it needed to get to

But lemme guess your response: "Matt Ryan sucks, it's all his fault blah blah blah"

:camby:

No, it's not all his fault. Football is a team game.

However, majority of this fanbase has taken the liberty of placing him above.

"Matt has 24 come back wins"

No he doesn't, the team moved the ball down the field, and Matt Bryant made a lot of clutch game winning field goals

" matt got coordinators head coaching jobs" no the Falcons offense got coaches head coaching jobs

" matt has 40 thousand passing yards" no he doesn't. I've explained it

The list of nonsense goes on and on

And if you disagree with a Ryanette on any of this they get mad

The reason for my belief it is Matts time to go, and or significantly cut his money is because what is happening now outside of 2016 has been going on since 2010, and you, and a lot of fans seem very oblivious to

A lot of blown leads, whole halfs of not scoring, blowing leads etc etc. Who is the constant in this? Matt Ryan

Was Sark in the building in the 2012 nfc championshop game?

Was Sark in the building in 2011 when the Falcons scored no offensive points against the Giants? Nope, but Ryan was

Was Sark in the building when the falcons went scoreless in the 2nd half in 2014 to the browns? Nope. But Matt Ryan was

The list goes on and on

So this blaming of Sark is nonsense

And its funny, when he got hired I said " look a new person to blame for Ryans failures" and like clockwork
