I feel like the overthrow was a mistake but it wasn't a turnover, he just sailed it. It wasn't an easy throw but he could've made it. It's just tough for me to be mad at Matt Ryan and the offense when the defense got humiliated in game losing drives in back to back weeks at home. It's almost like some of y'all are giving the D a pass

This team isn't gonna tank. They are in Matt Ryan's prime and have a young, inexpensive defense that is in its prime. Falcons are gonna attempt to win as many games as possible this season



At home in back to back weeks too. This was supposed to be the get right game now the season might be over



I'll play your game dumbass: What accountability if any do you give the defense? Or do the highly paid CB duo of Tru and Rocky get passes for playing like trash so far this season?

Tru needs to go, I haven't been impressed with him since he got here. Last Weeks Alfords and Poole's miss on Drew Breeze was unacceptable. Again

And you let your imagination get the best of you, again The Defense, doesn't and or hasn't has a legit super star in forever ( due to ya know the expensive offense we have, so that answers your what does that matter question)

And I blame Matt because he's been here the longest, and the same things were happening under Mike Smith. ( I notice the trend started happening in 2010)

After We drafted Julio in 11, there were no more excuses For Mike, Matt or Dimitroff. Sadly Matt is still here, doing the same crap. You are not really paying attention, and put all your focus on his facade of numbers, and completion percentages, and qbr's and all that irrelevant bullcrap.

The Cause ( all the money on the offensive side of the ball) is leading to the effect ( no depth on defense, not being able to afford actual strong pieces) = Defense not being able to stop a leak, Offense HAVING TO CARRY THE TEAM

Again, I'm sorry your feeble mind just cannot grasp this concept

The Falcons made a calculated move to go with their guys. Kazee is a baller, Richards is a bum. Could we have used him? Sure. I'm not sure where the money would've come from but yes almost anyone is better than what we have at SS now

He’d have to play perfectly to win with this defense which is unrealistic.

I just don’t see why they’d continue to keep going on like this without making some type of change. If they want to win as many games as possible bc of Matt still being in his prime that’s fine but in its current state, this roster specifically this defense in its current state isn't built to win more than six games. If we go 6-10 or 5-11 then what’s the point? We get picks in the mid to late teens of each round and waste another year without getting top ten talent to reload with.

This team has a lot of decisions to make on defense:

Are we bringing Vic back on a 5th yr option?
How big will Grady's extension be?
Debo and KeKe are gonna have deals coming up soon
Devondre might end up being in TeCo's position where there's just not enough money to go around at his position

But keep in mind that this isn't like the NBA, you can find a lot of talent throughout the draft. Our needs are the same as they were last year, DE, LB, OL, S

Stop bringing up the offense, the defense has given up 37 & 43 in consecutive weeks, you not gonna blame them AT ALL because of money spent on the offensive side of the ball? You do realize that the defense is compromised of mostly young players who haven't reached the stage of getting a big contract yet. So why are you continuing to bring up money when you know that outside of our starting cornerbacks and free safety, these guys aren't ready to get paid yet.

2) The defense wasn't always compromised of young players, but there weren't good players, because we couldn't afford them. Got Osi, on the tail end of his career, got Samuel towards the end of his career, picked up your favorite player from the vikings that you went and got matching nipple piercings with.

Again when was our last legit defensive STAR ?

I agree that the NFL draft is filled with talent in all rounds or positions but how likely is it for us to find that talent in the later picks? Yes we found Campbell, Jarrett and Freeman but outside of the 2016 draft we’ve been mediocre in terms of draft picks. Our second round picks never stay on the team outside of DJ and our recent pick in Oliver. We’ll see though.

Because they deserve blame for being terrible. They don't get a pass because their young and banged up. DQ and Coach Manuel need to FIGURE IT OUT. They don't deserve a pass and no ones going to feel sorry for us

And Debo is our star, Takk is up next. We thought this defense had the depth to be ELITE this yr, losing three starters hurt but their was supposed to be greater depth on this team. To my real Falcons fan, obviously that was a lie
