At first I thought the OP wanted to be cordial...but now it's looking like you're just trolling folks that simply don't agree with you...you asked if folks are proud and when they don't give u the answer that u like, it's oh you c00n blah blah blah c00n...

Most African Americans wouldn't know to be "proud" or not if they don't know the exact history of their surname...if I absolutely knew that my great-great-great grandfather actually chose our last name..Fuk yea I'll be proud of that, regardless if the name was European or what have you..the pride comes from within...

And my maternal family came up as Moors so...

reading is fundemental,

i asked if people were proud and no one actually answered, instead that asked questions on top of that 'OH SO WHAT WE POSE TO JUST MAKE UP A NAME' 'IM NOT AFRICAN' etc.

breh there was no trolling what so ever, and for a 13 page thread hardly any name calling. the maturity greatly outweighted any glint of trolling you wrongly thought you saw.
