Depends on the Backward compatability.

I do my large share of gaming on Xbox and I'm heavily invested in the ecosystem with hundreds of games that I still need to play and finish. Now while the lure of a new system with new games doesn't exactly compel me to run out and cop one first day, I'd honestly do it if I could enjoy the new while still playing the old atleast one console generation down.

I'd cop the new Ps whatever a year or two down the line since I'd only get it for exclusives which I'd more than likely play even later down the line like I did with Ps3/4 games. Plus the way these guys are looking to make revisions to these consoles, I might even wait a full 2,3 years down the line for THAT as opposed to buying the launch model.

Yes . I'm into technology and since video games are my passion , I always pre-order it as soon as it's announced unless they do some anti-consumer shyt .

I only buy playstation tho , and not other consoles during the entire generation.

not next gen...I’ve spent too much $$$ on this gen as is...3 XB1s...3 PS4s...and a switch...and I probably have somewhere around 130-140 games in total...I probably won’t dive into next gen until the next GTA is released...GTA has always been a next gen breaking point for me dating back to PS2

Assuming the Next XBOX will be fully backwards compatible, it depends on if the system has a must have or huge upgrade (SSD drive, huge CPU upgrade that immediately ups performance, must have). Otherwise, probably not.

After going the PC route can't go back to consoles shyt is a waste of money, that shyt need to be reserved for nintendo switch like shyt for kids, developers need to focus on getting the best out the pc hardware. talent is wasted developing for consoles
