I just knocked the first 3 eps of Abbott out and it got potential.

this Grand Crew jawn is kinda corny but it ain’t horrible. I’ll watch it when I don’t have anything else to watch.

I think I'm on the fifth ep. Something is missing, maybe it's chemistry, but I think the show has potential. I don't find it absolutely hilarious or anything, but the characters get more likeable with each ep as they find themselves in new shenanigans. It's solid background noise while working for me.

The brothas are a somewhat sassy and whitewashed, but it's not blatantly LGBT like most shows. No gay themes or agendas at the moment.

Just a bunch of chill black people doing them.

I think a second season is where it'll all come together.

Thats exactly the problem. I don’t believe their friendship yet and the writing isn’t great. Also casting is off / unattractive ( including the great value zazie beetz)
