Modern car designs are boring and lack uniqueness. Its like seeing 10 of the same exact cars in GTA

Yo the 2017 Civics and Accords look so raw on the road:ohlawd:

I watched too many mid/late 90s hip-hop & R&B videos so I have a soft spot in my heart for the luxury coupes, SUVs and sedans of that era

I feel like the luxury brands are stagnating or in some cases even regressing in design but the economy brands (Kia, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Ford etc) are stepping their game up BIG TIME

I feel so conflicted about the Civics lol

On one hand I like it, but on the other hand, I think it looks a little too robotic to me...

a little too "transformerish" like its getting ready to transform or some shyt lol

but overral, its a dope car though....and yeah, like you said, when you see that shyt on the road,

especially at night, with the back lights on

Nah. 50s-70s. Cars had distinctive designs and personalities. Because of modern safety regulations coupled with manufacturers trying to cost save, cars look pretty homogeneous. Rarely do I see a car from post 2010 that gets me excited and I love cars.

But you're talking about multiple design eras. Each one of those eras featured..............A lot of cars that looked like each other and had lots of similar features and design elements.

You're implying each decade corresponds to a single era which isn't always the case. Even if we pull a single decade, say the 60s, you're hard pressed to find two cars that can be confused for one another. There are some decent modern cars but most are built on the same platform and use the same components.

The midsize sedan category is quite competitive , Camry, Accord,Malibu, Fusion , and Altima have all done facelifts and redesigns. They are also trying to incorporate ideas from luxury brands into those cars. I feel that they have done too much on the front of the cars. Altima, Accord and Camry have all gone that direction while the Optima has retained the older styling.

Features are cool n shyt but they not built to last. Finessing goofy nikkas with aesthetics. Design is more than that.
