The firing further cements Lebron's legacy. The fact that LA has had two top 7 post players and Kobe can't do shyt with under Mike Brown, tells you how special of a talent Lebron is ...carrying Mr Potato Head and scrubs to 60+ wins back to back and a finals appearance.

A. Kobe is past his prime

B. The east was trash in when they went to the finals.(where lebron didn't even play well during that run)

Anybody who thinks Mike Brown is a good coach didn't follow him in Cleveland......

I'm glad he's gone.

:usure:

Lebron would have done more than being a 7th seed and being bounce out the first round two years in a row by the soft ass Suns. Lebron has done more with less than Kobe has. Lebron with Gasol, Bynum, and Artest is a finals appearance every year. If Kobe had Wade and Bosh, he would still be asking for more help. Dude does not know how to elevate the play of his teammates. If anything he demotivates them. Dude has a shyt attitude and needs to be called out about it. Lebron would have turned Smush Parker into a Chalmers or a Mo Williams type player at the very least. Lebron made Mike Brown look like Rick Adelman. He is about to turn Spoelstra into Pat Riley. Everybody looks better when they are with Lebron.

So let me get this straight....

Kobe won with pau and odom as his 2 and 3, but wouldn't win with wade and bosh?:snoop:

And lol at not knowing how to elevate teammates. Pau, Trevor ariza, and odom are perfect examples of him making nikkaz better then they actually were

:laff: going from 6th man of the year to one of the worst players in the NBA in one season.

Bottom line Brown wasn't gonna lead this team to a ship, never should've gotten hired in the first place and was never a good coach to begin with. So he should be glad he got 5 games cause that's 5 too many in my eyes. Bottom line even if you're defending Brown you don't actually believe he could've led a team to a ship...you're defending him for some other reason. And this team was built to win a ship anything else is a failure. So how many games he got doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. He's gone and that's the way it should be

HE WENT FARTHER THAN PHIL DID THE PRIOR SEASON WITH THE SAME ROSTER
MINUS 6 MAN OF THE YEAR ODOM...

IF PHIL COULDNT DO shyt WITH THAT ROSTER,
WHY WOULD MIKE BROWN LEAD THAT OLD TEAM OVER A MORE TALENTED YOUNGER TEAM?

THIS SEASON HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH LAST SEASON...
ITS BEEN BASICALLY THE SAME TEAM PLUS A FLABBY HOWARD...
FIRING A nikka AFTER 5 GAMES IS PURE SCUST.
BUSS MUSTA BEEN MADE OBAMA GOT REELECTED.

He didn't get fired for 5 games. Stop with that BS. He got fired because the whole team tuned him out. He lost the team. It wasn't something that could be corrected. No one respected Mike Brown. You either correct the mistake now or wait till later when it's too late to bring in a new coach. Stop with that 5 games BS. No surprise, the day he gets fired, our bench actually plays like a bench and we had our best game of the year on both ends.

Mike Brown isn't a bad coach if he was he wouldn't of gotten the job as the Lakers coach in the first place. :comeon:

Mike Browns coaching style doesn't match the Lakers roster and talent plain and simple. Lets not forget about the success he had in Cleveland. Yea I know that was Lebrons team but Brown still drew up plays and coached them to success.

nah. this is basketball. not football.

i do agree with :sadbron: on the fact that mike brown didnt get a fair shot, but race has nothing to do with it. i dont think his style of coaching was a good fit for that squad either.

same with eddie jordan as the offensive coach. that princeton offense is basically what got him canned in philly. i called that one ahead of time. that 76ers team was an even worst fit for the princeton offense.
