I don't understand this whole PG killing the Lakers thing. All PG's have been killing the Lakers, even when Fisher was their starting point guard. Fact of the matter is, NO ONE can stop those guys.

Didn't Rondo go off for 44 points in the ECF last year against the Heat, best D team in the L?
Didn't Westbrook go off for 44 points in the Finals against the Heat, best D team in the L?
Tony Parker and Westbrook both shared going off on each other during last years playoffs too.

I think people just get caught up in names and they don't look at the other factors. the age & health of the player, the coach and system, the surrounding cast, whether they play defense or not, etc.

its all names, names, names. and this is directed at the media as well, not just the fans

Yes but getting lit up defensively is magnified when you only contribute 7 pts 4 assists and shoot 3 of 9...

PG's are hard to stop but no one gets burned by them more consistently than the Lakers.

Exposed as what? He was terrible on defense even when he was the best pg in the league. PG defense is the least valuable of all positions anyway. Nash's value is how good he is individually on offense and how well he runs an offense, where the suns teams where historic(look at the numbers)

Why? The goal is to win the game, not necessarily to excel in both offense and defense. You can argue that the PG's that were also good at defense were more complete but they weren't touching his overall impact on the game.
