Are we all 100% in agreeance that "Roman Reigns" is a failure?

Vince is 100% to blame.

Hell had Vince let him start his split from the Shield as a heel and eventually let him evolve into a tweener and then baby face he would have probably had a chance. Vince literally tried to feed him to us as the guy for 4 years straight and all the content he had to work with was trash.

Looking back, the 14' Rumble when folks were anti-Batista and there was no rumors of them pushing Roman seemed like the best chance. This would have sacrificed D-Bry's incredible WM30 moment, but I can't think of any other time they could have done it with the fans behind him.

After that, the rumors started very early the same summer that he was being planned for the following year's Mania, and folks hated the forced push once they knew that. You pair that with DB's elimination at the 2015 Rumble + loss at Fastlane, Sufforin Succotash AND the "get money" promo and it was pretty much curtains by then.

Timing really is everything and I don't think they'll ever get the reaction they want for him on the big stage. The best he has ever got this far was that Raw in Philly where he won the strap, which was maybe due more to the shock of it happening on TV.

The leukemia had folks ease up on him once he returned, and now look, booed by the Rumble. Eliminating Edge didn't help that either lol.

At this point I'd just do Hollywood Reigns and let him style on everyone. Fiend should help him beat Berg

I don't get the random Roman hate again. Dude wasn't in the title picture for over a year. He's one of the best performers in the company, and his matches are always entertaining. He deserves to be champion.
Absolutely disagree.
Best performers in the company, that’s a blasphemy.
AJ
Nakamura
Cena
Daniel Bryan
Shorty G
Shelton
Buddy
Seth
KO
Brock
These guys are all better than him. To prove a point before feuding with Baron Corbin , Corbin was having pretty good matches during the king of the Ring tournament. He feuds with Roman and they both degrade to c level talents.

AJ has been stale for almost two years now. He's snooze status for me.
Nakamura is the same. He's one of the most talented, but laziest mufukkas on the roster. He's completely lost his aura.
Cena - Roman is a better performer :francis:
Daniel Bryan - Sure.
Shorty G/ Shelton/Buddy - All good in-ring performers, but they lack the charisma to be a main event guy.
Seth/KO - I disagree, but I can understand why someone would have the viewpoint. It's really 50/50 for me.
Brock - Sure.

Summer of 14 was ideal. Bryan had just forfeited the title due to injury, Cena held it for like a month until Brock murdered him at Summerslam. Reigns was just beginning to flirt with the main event picture, Ambrose and Rollins were in the middle of their feud, and the crowd was ready for it.
They poisoned the well with him not long after this and that was that until his leukemia announcement.

Lack charisma? Jinder was made heavyweight champion out of the blue...Lesnar is basically a super strong mute who works 8-10 min matches. Lol.

Maybe it's because I don't watch like I use to but Roman has never been that bad to me and I don't find his matches to be any worse then the other top stars at the moment. I just think that y'all have made it up in your mind that since you don't like him then he's forever terrible in your eyes.
