My local library has a massive selection of VHS's. Is it a waste of time to rent these in an era of Blu-Ray rips?

Kind of surprised they don't have a ton of DVDs now as long as they've been out and as dirt cheap as they are and they still bother with them.

:dead:

i can't even imagine what it would be like

it's hard enough watching a DVD or something that happens to be on an SD channel after years of HD tv and blu-ray conditioning

and now 4k around the corner

:scusthov: at the thought

do you still have a VCR breh? :dahell:
my thoughts exactly

No, but my homie does. I'm wondering what some films I've already seen in HD look like on VHS (Days of Heaven, Magnolia, The Player, etc.)

unless the blu ray/HD version you've seen was a special edition of directors cut or something that wasn't available before on VHS then you'll just be seeing a shyttier version of the movie. i remember years ago after watching DVDs i watched something on VHS and i didn't realise how bad it really was.

Besides the general :dahell: of the question, how would someone else be able to tell you if something is a waste of your time? :dahell:

Did you see something there you wanted to check out? Do you have a working VCR? Do you not know how or are you unable to download stuff off the internet?

That shyt is on you, b. :yeshrug:
