all the records that sample portishead suck,...even the organized joint.

the reason why portishead works is that certain something beth gives a track.

an emcee is not capable of doing in that sonic landscape.

nikkaz need to leave portishead alone as a sample base.

as it always sucks,....

portishead production, i put in the same category as diamond d's intro to stunts blunts and hiphop.

just leave it alone,...

or if you rhyme over it as thermo or ras it will still suck.

find another beat or some shyt to rock over...

this is fukking terrible.

i told you,...

nikkaz who listen to portishead listen to hear portishead and beth.

not no rapper,....

rap does not go with portishead or bjork,..it doesn't work.

trip hop as a genre after bjork & portishead.

pretty much died out because the greats at it did what could be done.

tricky and goldie were the only ones..who somehow figured out how to get rap style wack vocals over the work. yet after them,..and their failures lyrically on classic work for tricky. which was carried by a vocalist as well. everything else in the genre pales incomparison to vocals by beth and bjork.

if it isn't portishead or bjork,..you can forget it in this genre, period.

Tricky and Nelle Hopper to me is the one who started dubstep. But, that's another topic.

I forgot about the Nine and Aaliyah song.
