This might seem kinda odd comin' from a die hard laker fan, but on top of that im a basketball fan and enjoy discussin' the history of the game and where various teams fit historically speaking

with the addition of ray allen is this the most talented team ever?

Lebron - speaks for himself
Wade - finals mvp , top 5 player when healthy
Bosh - highly underrated, great shooter
Allen - possibly the best pure shooter ever, only reggie miller challenges that title

that's 4 bonifide hall of famers, with some good complimentary players on top of that

Battier - clutch and great defender
Mario Chalmers - getting better
Udonis Haslem - mister intangible

---

The only teams I can think of that might hold a candle to this team talent wise is...

the Lakers of the 80s with Kareem, Magic, Worthy, Green, Scott, Cooper

the Celtics of the 80s with Parrish, Bird, McHale, DJ

Maybe the 64-65 Cs with Bill Russell, Sam Jones, John Havlicek, Tom Sanders and Tom Heinsohn

and of course the 71-72 Lakers with Gail Goodrich, Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlain, Jim McMillian and Happy Hairston

---

I am by no means ever gonna be a band wagon jumper, but ya this team has immense talent and Pat Riley is a masterful architect

This season is going to be really exciting

You can't be serious?

how many teams have 4 future hall of famers? with 2 in their prime, one just leaving it, and 1 on the end of his career with still more to offer?

i just went through 60+ years of bball and named 4 teams..you'd have to be a hater or just plain blind not to acknowledge this

Yo, the '96 Bulls were the greatest team of all time. They had MJ, Pippen, and Rodman. Plus Luc Longley was getting better. He was getting better, brehs!!!

So the purest shot to every come through the league and the person who's hit more 3s than anyone in league history isn't gonna be in the hall? Ok :pachaha:

I was wondering the same thing

you got me defending people on a team i dont even like hah, i guess that's what i get for making that comment.. at any rate...

He averages 19.8 points and 9.1 rebounds per game for his career. Those are Hall of Fame numbers. He's also shooting .492 from the field and .799 from the free throw line.

He's a seven-time All-Star in an nine-year career and playing in perhaps the toughest era for power forwards ever in NBA history.

He's battled — Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Dirk Nowitzki, Amare Stoudemire, Zach Randolph, Jermaine O'Neal, Rasheed Wallace, Rashard Lewis, Antawn Jamison, Josh Smith, David West, Carlos Boozer, etc…

keep in mind its a BASKETBALL hall of fame not the NBA hall of fame...
