Anyone with a problem with these scum getting their heads smashed in is suspect
Justice > vengeance. These idiots aren't helping get these animals off the streets, they're making it easier for them to walk free. Every time some clout-chasing moron ruins a case by playing vigilante, they're destroying any usable evidence, potentially blowing legitimate investigations, or giving defense attorneys exactly what they need to get predators off the hook. These people are liabilities with a God complex and a camera. Some have even taken to staging these just so they can sate their bloodlust.

WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — Five Massachusetts college students appeared in court Thursday, accused of plotting to lure a man to their campus through a dating app and then seizing him as part of a “Catch a Predator” trend on TikTok.

The Assumption University students, all teenagers, were arraigned on conspiracy and kidnapping charges. Not-guilty pleas were entered for all of them, and they are due back in Worcester District Court on March 28 for a pre-trial conference.

The defendants — Kelsy Brainard, 18; Easton Randall, 19; Kevin Carroll, 18; Isabella Trudeau, 18; and Joaquin Smith, 18 — stood stone-faced in court, showing little emotion and addressing a judge only through attorneys. A sixth defendant was being arraigned separately in juvenile court.

Police said Brainard’s Tinder account was used to lure the man to the private, Roman Catholic school in Worcester. She faces an additional charge of witness intimidation. A male student in the group also faces a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

The target — a 22-year-old active-duty military service member — told police he was in town for his grandmother’s funeral in October and “just wanted to be around people that were happy,” according to a campus police report. So he turned to Tinder, where a woman whose profile said she was 18 invited him over.

She greeted him, led him into a basement lounge, and then within minutes, “a group of people came out of nowhere and started calling him a pedophile,” accusing him of wanting sex with 17-year-old girls, according to the report.

The man told police that he broke free and was chased by at least 25 people to his car, where he was punched in the head and his car door was slammed on him before he managed to flee.

Campus surveillance video shows a large group of students, including the woman, “all with their cellphones out in what seems to be a recording of the whole episode,” the police statement said. They are seen “laughing and high fiving with each other” in what appeared to be “a deliberately staged event,” and there was no evidence to indicate the man was seeking sexual relations with underage girls, the police report said.

Randall told officers they were inspired by the “catch a predator” trend, which he said “is big on TikTok” at the moment. He said their group shared ideas of what to tell the man through the Tinder app to lure him to campus, and then spread word through a dormitory chat group that a “predator” was in the building, the report said.

A review of the messages showed no indication that the man was looking for underage girls, police said.

:jbhmm: and why aren't there counter strings?

We know law enforcement teams conduct these official stings. But why is there never ones where police pretend to be adults looking for kids that agree to meet somewhere or sneak out that detain the kids and take them back to their parents and tell them to monitor their kids or be cited with neglect?

Like if you post online "I want to buy drugs or guns" feds will contact you and be like "I'll sell to you!" And likewise if you post "I'm selling drugs or guns" feds will contact you like "I'll buy!"
My boy use to be a parole officer in Texas and they don’t need to do stings they have trackers on their devices to monitor their surfing and social media and inspect their house for any unregistered device and track their coming and going. I don’t know what happens when they are off parole but they catch them before any sting would happen.

I mean they could be posing as kids to get new pedophiles and just showing the tapes of the ass kicking, but legally and just based on shyt going left I still think these are the guys off the list.

For predators, it’s fair game.
I don’t have any sympathy. But on the other hand I have a feeling a lot of these dudes not in it for the right reason.

The Truth
No sympathy for predators, but this type of content ends up doing more harm than good, and a lot of cases fukks up police work.

This type of stuff becoming entertainment sets a really bad precedent- similar to Cops

And then there's shyt like this

Dude had a developmentally disorder, and then the dudes who recorded him, lied and said the person was under aged.

Good post

This is why I don’t trust the dudes doing it. No love for pedos either, but they legit baited dude here. Hit him up first, told him that they were 19, lied after talking and making plans that they were 14, then met up with him to film.

There’s an ulterior motive here with the guys in the OP too… it has nothing to do with protecting children. Like someone said earlier, vigilante fantasies and they all belong in jail together.

That alley oop slap was ridiculous though :mjlol:

Those "predator hunter" cacs are usually predators themselves

Also they ruin everything by fukking up any possible investigation and the pedos get away with no charges or the charges dropped.

No such thing as going too far when punishing pedophiles
Zero prison time since they were never arrested and no police investigation took place.

No requirement to register as a sex offender for life since there was no conviction.

All the pedophiles are gonna do is learn to hide their activities better.

These "pedophile hunters" don't care about the kids.
