They tried playing nice with the xbox one and are now a laughing stock to the gaming community
Sony has all 4 quadrants of the gaming audience and Microsoft really only has 1. The only way to survive besides xbox being owned by Microsoft is to buy the heavy hitters of the game market

First off, what are these quadrants you're speaking of and how many Jan Michael Vincents are we talking about here?

Let me give you the reality of what's happening here. Microsoft is executing the same plans it's always had. Phil Spencer didn't create gamepass. This was always the eventuality, and the next step will be connected consoles and/or PC's to work like a supercomputer to create gaming experiences not possible without such a setup.

Sony doesn't and won't have that because they are not future proof. If you do a search with my name and Sony future proof you'll find dozens of post going back a decade telling everyone this. Anyways, the kishi controller makes my cellphone act just like a Nintendo switch. So now they got that "quadrant" on lock too. I can play Halo anywhere

The first party studios, the resources to make whatever they want, they even have AR/VR ready to roll, and all I'm seeing from Sony is literally what this thread is about.. Sony making acquisitions or exclusivity deals. Have you played Halo infinite BTW?

In terms of genres and audiences PlayStation has a wider pull than Microsoft right now based off the type and variety of games they sell
PlayStation has little big planet, ratchet and clank, and kena so that's kids
Then it has final fantasy 7, Spider-Man, and uncharted so that's teens
Then they have the last of us, demon souls, and god of war so that's adults

xbox only has 3 titles right now that's trying to grab all of that audience at once
Forza, halo and I guess gears.
Since they bought Bethesda that gives access to more of that audience and makes them more excited to get an Xbox because they have no choice

So Xbox has gamepass which has around 400 games. And while that counts, game over, checkmate/etc. The problem is Sony gamers are ignorant to things not PlayStation. Like you sound LITERALLY crazy saying Xbox only has 3 games. I'll give you a dozen that are more popular little big planet.

One thing first, that Sony list has more than one timed exclusive so you can't even name exclusives when naming exclusives

So Xbox, The big 3 that you mentioned, there is no Sony equivalent. No Killzone for Halo, Forza shyts on GT and you don't have a motorstorm to combat Forza Horizon
Uncharted is the response to gears. So let's talk about new games.

Sea of thieves is wildly successful, no mention by you or anyone team Sony. But fall guys? Or The PS4 camera meet up, PS3 home remember that? So awesome, sea of thieves years later adding an entire campaign with Disney and pirates of the Caribbean?

New Super Lucky's tale, totally remade into a classic but the original wasn't as good so that'll be the everlasting narrative from Sony stans and they won't recognize it as a Mario contender (but it is)

Grounded, more people play that today than little big planet and returnal combined but the Sony narrative is it's a flop because???? (narratives)

I can literally be here for hours doing this so I'll just have drop a few exclusives from this year alone. No need to mention the Indians Jones, Perfect Darks, Fable, Kojima cloud game, Killer Instinct, Starfield, Wolfenstein 3, Avowed, Elder scrolls 6, Gears 6, Banjo Kazooie, Flight simulator multiplayer additions/etc. nope..
