How U Luv That???
Hatin shyt like this is why NY fell off.
Jeezy,TI,Spitta,KRIT,Future,Ross,Yo Gotti,Juicy J etc..are Gucci Mane clones?
future and yo gotti yeah.
jeezy, ti and gucci all come from the same era, they're similar
spitta, krit and juicy j are unique. ross isnt southern he's from miami.
but something they all have in common except spitta and krit is they go over southern beats
@ all of this.
Since when Miami not the south?
Yo Gotti and Future sound nothing like Gucci Mane other than some of their beats.
TI been rapping since 2001. he's not similar to Gucci or Jeezy in any way.
And how does Currensy and KRIT not go in over "southern beats" just cause it's not trap don't mean it ain't southern.
Once again @ that entire post.
The South gets way to much hate. I don't know what it is. Maybe people refusing to accept a new experience, new artist, or it could be dumb elitism I don't get it. Do you not like having fun Do you not have a car? You think some fancy rhymes and punchlines are the only way to rap?
Cacs gonna Cac
nah i love gucci, ti, jeezy, wayne, waka and a few others
but i could do without the million other southern rappers making the same exact music
Then you like the South
Clones can be found anywhere look at NY and all the shooter hustlers
u know exactly what im talking about. miami rap is different, its not dirty south.
yo gotti and future want to be gucci, attitude and beat wise. ill give u ti. gucci and jeezy are almost the same.
currensy is more hipster than southern. he doesnt even work with southern producers except for his in house.
krit is old school southern and pretty much the only person in the game still doing rap like that. or at least only person doing it well.
but the point im trying to make is, besides a few excpetions, most of the southern scene is the same. they go over trap beats and dont have much substance
I remember when I first started posting on hiphop message boards every other thread was blaming the south for what they did to hiphop and how the south didnt care about lyrics, how the south only cared about rims and dancing
But, Future has a thread that's multiplat filled with praise. 2 Chainz gets constant praise, so does Gucci and Jeezy?
What happened? Did everybody just accept the fact you didn't have to rhyme big ass words together to make good music?
Tell that to Trick Daddy or JT Money
