For sure ya
Baked goods and patties have a short shelf life. So it would need reliable, possibly daily, delivery and to several gas stations.
Would also need legal as it would have to comply with all food handling, packaging, and labeling regulations.

I would say start with one or two products in a few locations to test demand and logistics as a pilot.
Do some research and invest in packaging that preserves freshness and highlights the original brand.

I would like Burritos from my fav place with Bam bam shrimps
yup, the underlying is what I am working on enabling. it would be the key aspect of the platform

def plan to start with a pilot project. i have suppliers ready to go but need a couple retailers to get on board

appreciate the responses. lets build.

lets remove gas station from the equation lol.

for gas station i was thinking things like frozen food...but lets remove that from the equation.

how about convenience stores and grocery stores.

lemme drum up a few examples

most grocery stores sell the following:
- Ice cream
- Manufactured cookies (oreos), and the softer, gourmet farmers market type cookies
- frozen pizzas
etc.

lets say you could grab pints of ice cream from a local favourite at your local grocery store...would you?
lets say you could grab freshly baked cookies or even packaged cookies from your local bakery at yor local grocery store...would you?
lets say the hottest pizza shop that always has lineups and doesnt deliver to your neighborhood sold frozen pizzas at your grocery store...would you cop?
Prepackaged foods will be seen as of lower quality and less desirable. People who fancy themselves as foodies will not be your target, especially not with the items you are using as an example.

You’d be better served focusing these type of items to young adults in young adult settings. College cafeterias, coffee shops or business offices for a broader crowd where convenience is prioritized. Talk to business managers at local hospitals to be a vendor. Local firehouses and police stations, hotel chains that have lobbied and coffee shops within etc. That will be your best focus.

“Your favorite local eats, at an arms reach”…some spin of that sentiment.

Something like this at places that you can’t have a store front on site.

i feel you. i wouldnt market to foodies...but i moreso asked for foodies to attract people into this thread.

here is one example of the kinda thing i'm trying to create

lets say there is a dope, very popular sandwich spot in my city called Rolls

Problem
- Rolls only has one or two locations in the city
- They have customers who fukk with them in other neighborhoods throughout the city but uber eats upcharges too much and delivery is inconvenient
- Theres a large retailer with a large presence that wants to attract more patrons into their store for lunch/dinner purchases

Solution
- Rolls partners up with a larger retailer to sell sandwiches to said retailer (at a lower price - the retailer than marks them up accordingly)
- Alternatively, Rolls could license their recipe/products to said retailer so the retailer can create and sell "Rolls" sandwiches with the branding and all that
- This increases foot traffic to the retailer and opens up a new b2b revenue stream for Rolls

There are some additional nuances required but I'll leave it there
I also agree...catering (ala Compass Group) / food service would also be a part of the platform. Providing food for offices, cafeterias, airports etc Even considered vending machines but that might be a last ditch effort as a pilot if i cant find retailers to get on board

A lake near Tampa FL
i have a way around this issue even for fresh foods that i may not reveal. but lets say this fish spot through a co-branding agreement or suppliers agreement sold pre-packaged meals at a local grocer/restaurant/convenience store or whatever...would you cop?

fish might be tough...but for shyt like sandwiches and what not i think it might could work...especially in densely populated areas
Depends on the meal. Microwave meals for example don't hit the same as made to order meals, so if its a microwave meal I wouldn't cop. I have eaten food from the deli at Walmart and Publix so :manny: I have eaten pre packaged pasta salad with Walmart chicken tenders and I loved it :pachaha: Pasta Salad is one of my favorite sides for a meal.

I would buy pre packaged cold sandwiches though, the issue is the various stores I seen pre packaged cold sandwiches is it's basically only the bread with cheese and whatever meat with NO mayo or toppings :dahell:

I’ve seen this model on a few fronts in Atlanta with specific vendors partnering with smaller boutique grocery stores.!

examples breh? this the shyt im tryna facilitate
Let me think of a few other examples but this is the first one that popped in my mind. At one time their retail was more carts/seasonal. They’ve partnered with smaller grocers up to Whole Foods ( on a local level not national).

King of Pops Wholesale

Whole Foods does this a fair amount to have local offerings in stores as well.

good shyt.

i know it def exists but its something that I think could be bolstered/more widespread.

Systemizing it might prove difficult. If I were trying to do it, I’d do it in one central location, get a few vendors to come out once a week, sell tickets as an event and have the vendors set up samples as a way to broaden their reach. Let them do the heavy lifting of making the sale after the event, you make money two ways (vendor fee to demo, foodie fee to come and sample food)
