mickey rourke (he's one of the greats and although he burned a lot of bridges way back in the day, when he gets the chance to get good to great roles, he always brings his a game --- "the wrestler, "ironman 2", sin city" and "sin city 2" --- rourke's "marv" character was the best thing about those sin city movies)
anne hathaway (1st saw her in "rachel's getting married" and she had me like , she's not only a very attractive woman but she can really act. then i saw she did a great job in "the devil's wears prada", "love and other drugs", "the dark knight rises", "one day", "bride wars" and "interstellar"

edit:Id agree with Casey Affleck, but he needs more roles as a star IMO...he always seems to be the second or third character in movies. Hes much better than big brother also

to me these days its more about checking for a director over an actor, if I have a director I like, Ill look for their movies more so who stars in it....just so happens my fav director uses Bale and Hardy (Nolan)
