The problem is Nash might not be back for another month. In that time Kobe is running around more than he has in his entire career. He may end up getting injured before Nash returns then you've exchanged one problem for another. It just depends if they can stay healthy.

If I were pringles i'd start resting Kobe and not even give a fukk about these games until Steve returns. It's more important to preserve Kobe for when Steve is back rather than run him into the ground while they still lose.

the heatles started their first year 9-8 before they turned it around (and i know 9-12 is worse) so im not gonna count em out just yet.

im gonna enjoy it while it lasts though :eat:

Even when the Heat were struggling they looked like a talented team that was still feeling each other out and trying to find chemistry though. That's why I never talked any shyt about them.

I'm sure the Lakers will improve when they're more healthy but they look like they're just not that good. It's pretty tough to win in today's NBA with a :flabbynsick: set of perimeter players that don't defend and no depth. Not to mention a weak coach who doesn't have the personnel to run his system. I'm counting them out as title contenders.

Na when they're more healthy we'll just see the inevitable Kobe implosion when Nash runs the offense...

Wasn't the bet that temple wouldn't be in last place ?

I'm gonna need a link

it was in the thread where you said temple athletics was becoming a problem, and you said either temple would have either 7 or 8 wins this season, which they didnt come close to

The heat played in the east and went on a 12 game winning streak after they started 9-8

Nash should be back in the next 2-3 games maybe for the knicks or wizards

But the defense is their biggest issue nash wont fix that

:russ: at the unbridled joy being displayed. There slow start notwithstanding I just can't imagine a squad with Kobe, Dwight, Pau, and Nash continuing to struggle like this all season. That just doesn't happen in the NBA.

Matt Barnes is one of those perimeter defenders they should have kept...

Odom was also decent in guarding multiple positions

they should have signed Pietrus and Delonte West

You could've at least waited two days. :heh: And yeah I'm sure. I just can't imagine them playing at this level all season. There may be some more struggles upcoming but I will believe that this is a sub 50 win squad when I see it.
