I'm not but when I was a teenager I was introduced to those teachings and am familiar enough with them.

I advocate for knowledge of self but I don't subscribe to all the racial stuff. I prefer Vedanta.

I think every kid that grew up in the trenches (in NYC) has a Godbody oldhead that puts you onto the knowledge.

Nah I would say I'm fragmented in terms of tenets or percepts nowadays. a couple of homeboy put me on to certain things years ago. Which basically came from building etc. believe it or not the first person to teach me how to play chess was Godbody.
