Even during the early 1900's with the Irish, Germans and Italians. So its those three groups who really have a claim for gang culture if you wanna go that route.

Tattoos are definetly due to Mexicans. No one had ever perfected tatooing like we did! You know there are differnet styles of inking up. Japanese, Sailor and Chicano are the ones that are the most popular. The ones all these black athletes get and all these rappers get is the style of inkwork the Mexican from LA perfected, the one the Mexican from LA used since the 1900s. Its our own unique way of inking up! Tatted like a cholo? What you think that style of inkwork is? Thats westcoast,mexican outlaw culture. Yet you got negroes all over America rocking it! None of the athletes or famous people I know have Chicano like tattoos. I don't even have Chicano style tattoos. So I dont even see your point. I don't see AA's rocking tatttoo's with this type of styling.

If anything AA's were more so influenced by bikers/rockers/goths when it comes to Tats than Mexicans. Try again.
