Off topic but I recently met a legit Jamaican like straight from the Island or something, probably from a small town cus I could not understand 80% of what he was saying. I have no problem with reggae or most of the Jamaican artist/athletes but my guy must of been speaking another dialect of patois or something.

I'm Jamaican, went to highschool there too. People love Drake, Wayne etc.
I don't care for Drakes fake patois antics but the majority of people I see that pretend to have a huge problem with it are Jamaicans who were never born there or spent a significant time in the country. And Twitter. Add xtentjejcoion to that list too then.
