Third nah, they didn't most definitely smash the locals, in fact they were vehemently hated by them and had to deal with recurrent rebellions. Check their DNA anyway and you generally won't see more than 1% subsaharian African... But close to 10% Middle Eastern/North Africanthat doesn't even come from that period of occupation.

Your second point could still apply and point to black Africans taking charge of the occupation in the southern parts of Italy. Third point, I don't think we can say with authority that there wasn't some fukking being done by the Moors and the locals.
