NO
It's embarrassing tbh.
THey should be celebrating if black people actually BROUGHT Disney, but no they are being played and they are throwing a dance. THis is embarrassing because the white jew is giving a few brought and paid for negroes some shine and they see it as a win for the race. NO it is not, Hans Christian Anderson was a white man as well as Stan Lee, those characters are for white people.

I’m indifferent, honestly I’d rather have more spotlight on unique black characters (Black Panther, Miles Morales, Static, Blue Marvel, Cyborg, etc.) as opposed to remakes where they just recast characters as black just because. Even the marvel bit where they pass the torch temporarily is fine b/c they’ve been doing that for decades anyway (I.e. Falcon as Cap or Rhodes as Iron Man).

I think the bigger crime with the Little Mermaid is how the 90s Disney cartoon butchered the original story so hard. That “happily ever after” nonsense doesn’t happen in the OG story, matter of fact most of the originals for these Disney princess movies are varying levels of :mjtf:

It's mostly just reaction to the hate from racists
It is interesting to see the effect Black Panther is having on Hollywood
Sad it took this long but it's like Hollywood just learned that black characters can carry a franchise internationally
Even with all the hate I expect the Mermaid shyt to do numbers....

Exactly,Disney isn't just making all these black characters out of the kindness of their hearts. This is clear mathmatical ,ai analytics we are talking about here. When you deal with AI its not open for racist interpretation. The analytics of the computers have decided that black people keep the computers putin. Black twitter and social media move the needle. Black social media has a major influence, and if you don't want to be left out you will have to watch whatever black twitter is discussing through funny memes and comedy stylings. But sadly, black people will continue to do all that shyt for free, and thank the white man for being so kind, instead of choosing to see our value. When you see your value you don't have to ask the white man for shyt,or hope the white man can,you can begin to make demands

I Always Hated the idea of turning a character into something it wazn't prior specifically with comics in mind, I like Black Panther, My Dawg Static Shock, & Storm & Bedlam From X force, Cause they are original, I hate it when you just go in and change someone just to pander, cause to me you don't care enough to make a character with... its on lore, villians, world ect.... nah you just change batman black to boost sells for like a week then you get tired and turn him back to bruce later

ish is lazy..... However, It is fun to watch the racist white folk get mad tho LOL :lolbron:
Pretty much where I stand. There are plenty of black characters they could/should invest in. The racebending is mostly BS(especially when it's done to push some weirdo swirl fantasy).

I don't udnerstand how it's a "win" when it's just pandering. Stay true to the story and put the same energy into creating new shyt with black characters on it.
The last thing we need is white folks mad at a black person genuinely doing something they got hired for, it's like Hollywood enjoys dividing people.

Shoving black characters down people's throats to create controversy and more division ain't it.
