Are any of the other final fantasies big enough to get the ff7R treatment?

I feel like 6-8-9 are the only ones in the discussion.

10 still looks really good and the story telling wasn't limited by the hardware.

Never played 8 but apparently the story got pretty convoluted. A remake could streamline the story and improve it.

6 would be five whole console generations later. :whoo:And is still held in high regard by those who have played it. I feel it would get more hype than 8 honestly.

9 would be the dark horse. It would definitely be interesting to have 9's big medieval steam punk style in current graphics

6 and 8 in a similar manner to 7

9 but redone strictly old school turn base but updated somewhat like dragon quest

Popularity wise, FF7 is the biggest easily. Any others being big enough is subjective, but 6 is the one I'd want to see the most, even tho im not the biggest fan of the new combat system.

i think the main guy that worked on this one wanted to remake 4

4 + The After Years is a lot of content. FF4 is linear as fukk too so people can't complain about linear it is.

Like the latest dragon quest?:ehh:

This is how I actually would want some of these remakes to be like.

6, I don't think 9 is as universally loved as much as 6, and 7

You're right, but I think a lot of people just haven't played 9, it was at the end of the PS1 generation.

More people talk about 10 and 12 because they were on PS2. I do think 9 is better than 10 but 12 is better than both IMO
