I basically agree. The last few seasons were enjoyable enough for me, but at the same time I wouldn't miss them either. So they can go on or not, either way is fine.

iirc he sort of ran out of ideas or motivation which led to the non spy seasons or the coma seasons. i liked 1999, the new writers breathed some life back into the show and this past season under the new showrunner was really good. they were going to end it last year but the ratings improved so much over the prior season fx decided to renew it.

Last season was good, I could see them ending it next season or going for one more since they have the contract, and the show runners haven’t been able to get their other shows going. I wonder what happened to the apocalypse show they had planned with JB Smoove? His jokes and delivery on Harley Quinn is amazing.
