I've been grinding for a while...really been off video games mostly and I was thinking it's time to reward myself and buy a console...

I've been wanting to for a while but decided to wait to cop the new Xbox One X in a week or so because it's supposed to be the strongest console ever and I really just figured "since I don't buy systems like I did when I was a kid...I should just cop the newest joint and rock with that for probably a decade "

But then I look at the games I want and I know they are on both consoles (GTA again, Red Dead, Madden etc., )

But then I see PS exclusives and I'm like

That Detroit/android game coming out looks
Crash Bandicoot byke
That Spiderman joint looks dope
and I saw an exclusive open world Samurai game is coming out and it reminded me of my trip to Japan recently


I'm not trying to start a "console war" or any corny shyt like that, but can anyone give me sound advice (maybe someone who owns both systems) on if I should skip on these exclusives to get an XBone? Are there doper exclusives on Xbox I'm missing? I'm a casual gamer...do I need all the power an XBoneX is going to give me or is a PS4 just fine.

Thoughts?

Just get a PS4 Pro and call it a day.

Why get an X and be stuck playing exclusives that you have less interest in?

Your interest in particular game franchises should outweigh any minor performance increases that you'll get by going with an X.

You get the multiplats and exclusives with the PS4. It's a no brainer.

Get a PS4 and stop bullshyttin.

It sounds like you have your mind made up.
Just get the PS4.
Most people on this forum have a PS4 only so you're always going to get the Sony Spin.
XB1 has some fire exclusives as well but like I said, your OP sounds like you have your mind made up already so get the PS4 and don't bother with a PS4 Pro if you don't have a 4K tv.

I had a 360 and before that Xbox and PS2. I liked the 360 so that's why I wanted to upgrade to an XboneX when it came out

If Microsoft could deliver on the games it promises I would tell you to get an X1X, but Sony has been delivering there. Get a PS4 Pro.

Cop an X1X now for superior gaming as well as UHD and 4 K gaming.

Cop a used PS4 OG on the low, if you must play the overrated Sony exclusives.

If you kept your old Xbox consoles, backwards compatibility doesn't matter.

Get the PS4 Slim or Pro brand new

Lot s of games, i wouldn't gamble on used consoles or the X1

This is my issue

The sony games look cool but I don't want to cop a system and then they are dropping a new one next November.

At least I know Xbox is "committed" to this gen (servers etc.) for a while because they are dropping a "deluxe" rather than a new brand new model.

problem is they aren't bringin any new games. you just said you didn't want to miss out on the Playstation Exclusives. With a PS4 you don't lose out on the good multiplats or the exclusives Sony has. Don't be no dummy.

I think my late adoption put me in a bind
