Shot gun is a pretty easy choice for me. Nothing can replace that chilling sound it makes before even pulling the trigger.
I've been told the sound of racking it back alone will have some1 thinking twice :damn:

This that dumb shyt.

Don't worry about scaring someone with the sound.

Worry about someone being scared when that shyt go off.

I got some shyt that's gonna wake up the neighbors 2 blocks over. Them homies waiting in the car, or outside? Yeah, they gonna take off.

Shotgun.
Unless you have acres of woods around the house, an ar is putting rounds straight through sheet rock and vinyl siding. You'll be shooting up your entire place and your neighborhood. Theyre made for range and, unless you've had intensive training, theyre made for volume of rounds downrange.

My nephew had this gun. I can verify it's official.

Shotgun. Always pick the shotgun in any close in fight. Anyone that didn't picked the AR15 over the shotgun needs to be forced to have a close in gun battle with their stupid AR15 against an old granddaddy shotgun. That sumbytch gon learn today.

Shotgun. Unless you plan on having a shootout with targets moving in and out from a distance.

One buck shot will be enough to deal with an intruder.

You don't even have to shoot a shotgun. You can just rack it and the baddest muddafuggas on the planet will start running. That is an absolutely terrifying weapon.

It is correct that you want a shotgun for home defense. Birdshot will do, with a round or 2 of buck if that mf doesn't get the message.

But shotguns aren't scary in the least. If you have grand dads shotgun that sumbich gonna have at least a 21- 28 inch barrel on it. Which if you aren't trained, is going to be a bytch moving around.

You aren't duck hunting, you aren't going to take a shotgun stance and plant your feet nearly shoulder width apart and swing your torso. Especially if that other person has a gun. Keep in mind 90% of shotty owners aren't training. They aren't running and gunning.

Suppose you have an 18.5 in or smaller. Well now you are in more trouble because when you shoot, you are going to have to get back on target.

If you are hoping for a shootout. Shotty is a good choice. You are better off shooting and hoping the sound of the gun fire or the slug destroying something scares them because if that don't then nothing will.

It's easier to get a kill streak with an AR. You have to be lucky or camping to get one with a shotgun
