It's our defense that fukked up...as bad as you wanna make our limitted offense out to be, Brady still put up 260 pass yds, 2 TDs and 29 pts...that's good enough to compete with anybody.

It's just not the Pat's biggest problem. They can win with that offense, cuz, yanno, it's ranked #1 . and they've been winning with it for a while now.

And when McCourty damn near fumbled the game away, that Offense drove them right down the field to tie....ditto OT

Aaron Hernandez wasn't even healthy in that game and Gronk wasn't 100%. Keep thinking that Landry and Bell will do that against a healthy Pats team. You'll see what I mean on Thanksgiving. The Pats have this year what they didn't have last year, a run game.

But I agree on the field stretcher, but the secondary is a much bigger issue. Much bigger. That offense was good enough to win last year. Welker was wide open for a first down on the play where Brady forced that INT.
A field stretcher is probably more for his sanity so that he's not forced to be the most precise QB in the league very week once teams figure out the scheme for that day.

Well if you don't think that, why mention those guys? That's not an accurate evaluation of the personnel or what occurred in that game. If we're being real it was clearly more on the defense and the drives they allowed. They don't even allow the Pats to stay committed to the run sometimes. Even though I think they should stick with it regardless.

Every offense will stall at times, but on championship winning teams, the defense is able to make stops when they are needed the most. The same Giants defense that stopped the Pats also allowed a SB completion record just before that. The O's weaknesses are highlighted because the defense puts so much pressure on them.

But your're right about the Broncos. I keep telling people that they're ignoring the defense on that squad and the roll it's playing.
