We havnt seen a console flop like this in ages.

This is on some Sega CD type of shyt. Microsoft has literally pulled a 180 on everything they have promised in less than a year. E3 better be amazing for them or Nintendo is going to start kicking their ass.

Both platforms desperately need next-gen only games and unfortunately, that won't be until their next exclusives.

Wolfenstein, Watch Dogs and Destiny are the next big games and all are on the old consoles too.

I hate to say it but I think that's the issue as long as they support the ps3/360 what is the reason to upgrade other than graphics.

It may be wrong but I think they should stop supporting the old gen systems and those attach rates and only support them with shovel ware and games that are to far into developement to put onto the next gen systems.

I know they wouldn't do it but that would push sales.

at this point ms decided it had to protect itself from the wii u and transform its product into the xbox 180. i cant blame them. nobody wants mario kart to cause the wii u to rise above them for even one month given the poor reputation wii u has.

I don't know if yall were around during the last console cycle but this far in the PS3 was doomed to be a miserable failure let most people tell it. Like the Xbox One after it I bought a PS3 at launch and like the Xbox One I watched the majority of people shyt on it. Needless to say things turned around nicely.

This early in most of this stuff is meaningless. A 3 million console lead isn't insurmountable. Hell the Xbox 360 nursed a 7-ish million console lead for several years.

Im continuing to hold out.... neither system is ready IMO....

It looks like Holiday 2015 for me unless E3 and TGS are the best they've been in quite some time.
I can still buy damn near every notable game for my PS3.
