In what way do you mean? The Undertaker's streak sold WrestleMania during years where the company wasn't hot at all. It made sense to keep it going. I'm still not sure it made sense for Brock to be the one to end it but generally speaking, wrestlers are supposed to put someone over on the way out.

They gave it to the one person that wouldn’t benefit from the streak. Brock wasn’t even there again for months lol. I think in general, they overstate how much fans are invested in title reign length. I think when the moment is right, do it. They passed up 3 great chances to do it with Roman

Ultimately you had the red hot babyface coming off injury, worked his way back, won the Rumble, moving numbers on TV, merch and house shows - hugging babies and kissing fat girls, all that.

I'm not the biggest CAWdy fan but the momentum was there and those moments don't fall into your lap very often in wrestling. Like I said, WWE hasn't had it since with Daniel Bryan and that was 9 years ago.

Top babyfaces don't grow on trees.. WWE hasn't had one since Daniel Bryan. Now they had 2 in the last 6 months. What is the point of not capitalizing on that?

Honestly, I think Cody could still be the guy to do it at next year's Mania, Triple H might be a big Rocky II fan or some shyt. Or Jey Uso could get a shocking win but that'd be more suited for a SummerSlam main event.

But I also fear that they think Bron Breaker is the next man up and I don't think he's nearly ready for that.

The only match he's ever had where it looked like he could be in trouble because the opponent can physically overwhelm him is Brock.

So Lashley and ESPECIALLY GOONTAH stand out for this.

Yeah but Brock doesn't do strikes (for obvious reasons), nor does Lashley. Gunther is the only one on the roster than can do that kind of match against Reigns.
