Does Dom have long term potential as a wwe star?
Everyone here is high on Dom I personally don't see it. To me the reason he's over or getting heel heat is because he's annoying and people want him to go away. Also his storyline helps out a great deal my thing is what's going to happen when you're not in a feud with your dad. can you get heel heat? can you put on a great match that tells the story?

Bro who outside your circle actually still watches WWE that ain't fat, lame or under 20
Bro I watched the same wrestlemania as you

80,000 people into every match

The show included snoop dogg, lil Uzi vert, George kittle, Stephen a smith on the preshow etc.

show was popping

You honestly sound like one of those brehs who only show up in the wrestling thread on mania night with no idea about storylines or the wrestlers but will give your input on how bad the show was and it’s not the same but everyone actually enjoyed it

He's been an absolute heat magnet but I'm sure a lot of it has to do with the fact that the object of his disrespect is, no bullshyt, probably the purest and overall best human being in the WWE. What that feud told me is that there's a lot of folks at home that have discipline problems with their kids.

In general, I think he has potential if he can get a grown man body about him but he'll never reach the heights Rey has.

Had himself a damn good Mania entrance too.

They definitely should have went on last that was the match of the night. the thing is that Uso's versus Sammy and Kevin had a better storyline coming into it

:hhh: said himself that said storyline was why Usos/KO and SZ went on last.

As a Usos stan, I'm still :pacspit: that they lost and it has admittedly jaded my objectivity about the match.

However, there are MULTIPLE WrestleManias -- including some very recent ones -- where Rhea/Charlotte would have easily been match of the night and worthy of closing out the show on match quality alone.

Cena always been trash. A lot of nıggas been overrating him because the attitude era. He was only a notch above boring and even Dave Batista was better.

You know this is bullshyt. Cena has been a far better talent in ring than Batista.

Of course Cena is trash now. Don't forget this was his first singles match in 5 YEARS.

He couldn't get over tag teaming with his dad, this last month he's got bigger reactions than anybody else in his group. You're selling him short a bit

In ring he's below average still but psychologically he's leaps and bounds better in JD. He can read the crowd and has good timing, all that's gonna translate whether it's Rey or not

You're not gonna find anybody wanting a world title on him but a role as a smarmy Randall off Recess heel/sellable underdog babyface with a miracle short US title run? For sure

Theory vs cena was very disappointing

Cena didn’t really give theory much to work with

At least let him kick out of an AA

To me that echoes the sentiment of another poster in here. Right now, Cena doesn't believe there's anything sort of intangible/difference-making quality about Theory that says he has next. Because we've seen Cena go the extra mile for others.

Just caught up on Mania...really dope show.

Rhea/Charlotte was legit great....hard hitting shyt. One of the better WWE matches i've seen in the last couple of years.

Main event was fire too although I thought it took a while for the crowd to get into it. Great storytelling.

Dom/Rey and Seth/Logan were real good too.

But the match that shocked me the most was that 4 way tag...that shyt was entertaining as fukk.

But the key takeaway I had was it all just made sense in terms of who won, making the fans happy. There was none of that antagonizing the fans shyt that Vince loved to do. It was just some logical ass wrestling. This shyt doesn't have to be that hard. Just don't overthink it.

Also praise HHH for bringing back the two man commentator team :blessed:

That’s the problem now… the audience has been conditioned to expect nikkas to spam finishers like it’s a video game when the finisher is supposed to put the nikka down.

Match did what it was supposed to do. Theory gets heat, and it took ONE finish to put Cena down.

If the object of the game was to establish Theory as someone to take seriously? It did that.

The match itself would have been fine main eventing a Raw. I think people are calling it a disappointment because there hasn't been a ton of build or intrigue. However, the story itself was executed.

Cena comes in, is told Theory's the guy. He says "Nah, I don't see it :childplease:" and tells Theory he'll expose and embarrass him. Theory (who it sounds like looked up to Cena) takes that personally and while the promos may not have shown it, goes to any length during the match (biting, low blows) to prove that he is what they say he is. He then beats "Super Cena" with one finish.

TL;DR - Legend underestimated the guy who is eventually taking the mantle and paid for it. Not every match has to be a 5-star classic when this particular Mania has at least 4-5 matches capable of doing so (with two of them arguably happening on Night 1).
