how you do that?
On Android the app that controls the home screen is called a Launcher. There are literally a shyt ton of third party launchers to give you a new interface whenever you want.

No one is taking props away from Apple on the iPhone 1. It was a game changer, and made other manufacturers and mobile OS's step up their game. The fact that iOS hasn't got a full fledged revamp and allow end users the ability to modify/customize it more is atrocious.
The fact that I can freely switch my home screen natively(no rooting) from:
to:
.
I just rooted to stock 4.2.2 on my gs3. I need that second image you got for my home screen .
Which launcher is that?
once that iwatch drops its a wrap nikka
As pointed out, Android phones are for broke people who can't afford better or for people who don't have life so they need to flash custom ROMs all day.
And at "rapid technology adoption and boundary-pushing designs".

This fukkers have ripped off Windows Phone Live Tiles! Disgusting.
BTW, live tiles is what separates Windows Phone from the competition. Sorry.
Haha yes they did. I'm glad both Windows and Android are going in much different directions than Apple.
I have a Windows 8 i7 touch screen laptop with 16gb of ram and am loving it so far. How are the Windows phones in terms of customization?

That's not "extremely" customizable...The Windows Phones are extremely customizable. You can change colors of the tiles, as well as the size, shape, and placement of the tiles. Not quite the control as Android but more than enough to keep the leisure cell phone user satisfied.
