Hate that the entry level MBPs are still stuck on 1280x800 resolution. Same resolution as my OG white MacBook from 06.

I was also hoping there would be some updates made to the ios lockscreen but I guess I'll have to keep using Lockinfo.

i don't really get why the hdmi out is a big deal to you guys, why not just use a cheapass adapter from the thunderbolt port

i think the big plus in the retina MBP is the dual thunderbolt/miniDP. you can have multiple monitor displays much easier and without lag and without having to shell out the dough for 2xcinema displays or an external adapter (good ones go for like $160)

Is a MBP really worth $2800?

I can't see paying that much for a computer

$500 extra to go from 512gb to 768. Damn these shyts cost a grip

it really aint now

the best model non retina is just as expensive as the worst model retina.

if i was spending 2800 on a mac, id buy the non retina 15 inch for 2000 and add a SSD, 16 gb of ram high res screen and a better cpu i think for like 25-2800

when mountain lion drops with airplay mirroring, HDMI won't be so relevant anyway...to apple tv owners anyway

Disappointed that they are getting rid of the 17" MBP...that would been of been super sexy with retina display..I have a 17 inch, MBP from last year and can't see myself with a smaller screen :manny:
