Once it gets there, I don't see why they would take it off. Ridley Scott says he has a four hour cut that would only be on Apple tv.

Because of the movie star actors that are on the show and the riders (requirements) to do the show. Filming in New York ain't cheap, penthouse, restaurants, hotel, and back again.
Them game of thrones ppl were nobody's, they was paying for polygons.
