I got a email saying it was gonna auto renew next week. I was able to cancel in my iPhone settings menu.

Yeah that’s how I cancelled it. I cancelled it early as I literally used it once.

TV+ is the original content.

the movies are the digital ones u can rent or own thru the TV app. however, if you have other apps on your apple tv, like HBO, prime showtime etc, the TV app is also like a hub for everything. The ONLY thing it doesn't work for for me is sports content that I watch via youtube tv as it always wants to launch an NBA game thru the NBA app that I don't even have installed and I cannot default that programming to the YTTV app.
