No sense in upgrading a phone every year anymore especially when your phone is still getting the latest firmware updates. The year to year hardware updates are small now.

You can easily get 2-4 years out of most any hardware now and maybe even longer than that if you don’t mind a degraded battery and slightly less smooth software experience.

its been like this for almost a decade now lol. Only folks who need phones every yr is shytty androids.
